Sometime Saturday afternoon, posters began appearing around town, courtesy of a frighteningly cheerful Ghanima.

She took a step back to admire her work, smiling for a moment before moving on to the next spot that seemed to need a flyer.

It would be interesting to see who showed up.

[Establishy, but open if you want to react to the posters or ask Ghanima a question.]

[Open, if you really want to encounter Ghanima and have questions, but I'm off to play WoW for a few hours around. FOR THE HORDE!]

As you may have seen over here in Open Forum....

After over a year of teaching, if there is one thing Ghanima Atreides has learned, it is this: the students of Fandom are wonderfully brilliant, unpredictable, gifted children.

They also have a pathological need to hit things when they get stressed.

Letting half-trained children wave weapons at other children in an unsupervised manner, however, goes against everything she is as a Bene Gesserit and a Fremen. Fighting is not a game, and training does not mean the occasional trip to the salle or gym when you've had a bad day. This is why she has partnered (Not Dirty) with Tyler Durden, to offer a weekly space to deal with aggression and improve upon your own abilities.

This is not a place for those with delicate sensibilities. You will hit the mat. You will go home bruised, bleeding, and sore. You will not feel good about yourself at the end of the day. You will, however, achieve some form of catharsis. If you're lucky, you'll also be less-likely to die when faced with a superior opponent.

This program is open to students, teachers, townies, and anyone else on the island. During Homecoming, the alumni are also welcome to join us for a few rounds. If you are there, however, you are participating. There are no spectators in Fandom Fight Club.

Fight Club takes place on Sunday evenings, posted on Sunday morning for maximum SP. Wear clothing you can move in, and bring a towel. All fights will be supervised by Ghanima and/or Tyler, and neither of them is afraid to wade in and break things up if they have to.

Check the OCD to indicate your interest, and ask any questions!
